Hey All ... Happy Thursday! Here's a picture of a RAK I made for Linda and Denise for our funfilled day this past Sunday of crafting, laughing and eating! I scooped the idea from Scor-Pal...

Here's a closeup of the top flower that I cut with my Sizzix, and the goodies that were inside the box ... I had to restrain myself from eating the candy!! LOL!
Thanks for visiting and I hope to make more creations soon!

HAPPY TUESDAY ALL! Last week was to acknowledge Administrative Assistants all around the United States. This is a card I made for my assistant Michele who keeps me in check at work and helps to organize me! Thanks Michele for putting up with my nonsense and I'm waiting for you to start a blog too! Come on girlfriend!!! I used the Wild West Anya stamp because Michele is super tiny, but can be "WILD" too! Hope you like the card!

Our company closed the office at Noon last Friday and took all of us to a luncheon at 3660 on the Rise. The buffet was AWESOME and after eating and some Karaoke (no I didn't sing ... only danced to the music), a bunch of us went across the street to Brian's for a little Make & Take and also made some purchases!

Speaking of purchases, did you guys go to the sale at J's? 30% off the ENTIRE STORE until tomorrow!!! Linda and I went during our lunch hour yesterday and got to meet some crafting ladies! Boy Clifford is so patient with all of us women trying to get bargains ... thanks Clifford.

As we were leaving, we were lucky to meet Jodi of Inked Inspirations. As you all know, Jodi has the most FABULOUS creations on her blog! It's so nice to meet blogging sisters in person!

Hello my blogging sisters and Happy Monday! Boy, I had a super awesome Sunday playing with my BFF Linda and GF Denise. Denise was kind enough to invite us over to cut some HK out with her Cricut ... after yesterday, she might not invite us again!! LOL!! We crafted, laughed, ate and just plain had FUN! Big Hugs to Denise for being so kind to invite us into her lovely home! We even got to meet Denise's daugher Jamee and her husband Jim ... thanks guys for letting us borrow her for the day.

Look at the welcome RAK Denise gave us. Awesome bunch of goodies ... she also made this gorgeous card to go with the goodies. THANKS DENISE!

Later on in the afternoon, we got a visit from Dawne and her cute daughter who patiently waited while we talked stories. Dawne gave us some helpful hints on some stamping techniques to make our creations faster and prettier! Thanks Dawne, and it was really nice to meet you. You are just as mental as us!!

When we got to Denise's house, we were surprised with a RAK from Joy. Look at all the stamped images we received from Joy and the folders it came is was SUPER FAB! You are so nice to think of us and I was sad that I didn't get to meet you! Next time okay!

You guys are just SUPER FAB and I am so happy to be making friends with all of you! Sorry for the long post, but I just get excited so excuse okay! Take Care all and have a great evening!

Hi All! Here's a card that I made for Jen as a THANK YOU for sending a shout out on my new blog. I really appreciated Jen's words of support and encouragement. After talking with her, I found out that she also went to Farrington High School (GO GOVS!!) and grew up in Kalihi ... JUST LIKE ME! However, she did mention to me that she was only 3 YEARS OLD when I was finishing school ... OUCH ... LOL!!! I used Angel Anya because Jen's been just like an angel to me! Thanks for visiting!

Hi Sisters! I received my card today from our new blogging sister Joni of Crafty Hula Hands. This card is for Teri's OCS for the month of April. Check it out...
Joni used the SU Top Note die which she embossed with the Swiss Dots, stamped images of the flowers from the Fifth Avenue Flower set (she actually cut it out before adhering it to the card), added "happy thoughts" peeking from the side, and pretty SU ribbon. AWESOME!! Here's a closeup of Joni's work. EXCELLENT JOB JONI!

Boy, Teri's OCS is sooo super fun. I can't wait for the next one! THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK TERI!

Okay Sisters, thanks for checking out my blog and talk to you again real soon! Take Care!

Happy Monday All! Hope you had a wonderful and productive weekend! Here's my Skater Ian card I made from the images that Chalsie of Paper Kisses was so super sweet to send me! Thanks again Chalsie for your RAK ... I REALLY appreciated it!

Here's a closeup ... don't look too close because Ian looks like he has a bruise on the left side of his head because Sister is still learning how to color with her Copics. LOL!!

After seeing the glaze that Jen used on her ice cream cone, I remembered that I had a bottle of that glaze and was hoping it wasn't all dried up because it has been YEARS since I last used it. Thankfully it was still in liquid form so I added dimension to Ian's hat. Thanks Jen for triggering my memory!

Don't look too close at the picture because you can see my terrible coloring ... man, gotta take some SERIOUS lessons!! Boy it really looks like Ian has a huge bump on his head or some serious acne action going on. Sigh...

I was happy because when my son Travis saw the card, he said "Wow, cool card Mom!" Hee hee...

I just some new stamps from TGF, so will be playing with them next. Have a great week girls and thanks for stopping by!

I have made lots of new friends, and I hope to continue making many more. One day, I will meet all of you and be able to personally thank you for all your kind comments and words of encouragement. Sniff, sniff ... gotta get my kleenex now. But seriously, you are all FABULOUS and I enjoy visiting all of your blogs. Sistas RULE...

Hope this post finds everyone in good health! I have always wanted to make something with this Molly stamp because sometimes I feel just like the image ... ALWAYS ON THE GOOOOO! On the weekends, if I'm not being a taxi for my kids and their friends, I'm trying to make time to grocery shop, clean the house, give my Honey some attention (poor thing), plan my upcoming work week, CRAFT, and do EVERYTHING ELSE that I cannot fit into the week. Okay, okay, I'll stop whining now... I bet all of you blogging sisters go through the same thing as I do! This blog has brought some sanity back into my life ... its an excellent release and jounaling my crafts is FUN, FUN, FUN!

I used my DSP, pearl brads that I got from J's and my new EK Success border punch that I bought in Vegas. TATA, until we talk again...

Happy Friday my blogging sisters! Okay, so I'm on a roll with my Quickutz dies! A GF at work had a birthday this past Sunday so I decided to use my Quickutz Owl to maker her a card. I hope she likes it ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY DONNA!

I used my SU Biz Top Note die, and added a little branch for Mr. Owl to sit on. I also used DSP as my matting. I kinda like Mr. Owl and think he's pretty cute... Have a great weekend of CRAFTING ... talk to you again real soon!

Chalsie of PaperKisses sent this award my way! BIG HUGS CHALSIE!!! All you bloggers have been so nice to me by leaving comments on my creations! I really appreciate all your words of encouragement. Okay, I going cry now ... LOL!!!

I'm passing the LOVE to these 5 sisters ... all superb creators:
  1. Denise ... Denise Loves Stamps (I know she'll get a duplicate from my BFF who got this award from Chalsie too!)
  2. Jen ... Pieces of Me
  3. Marisa ... Crafty Creativity
  4. Gracie ... Created by Gracie
  5. Risa ... Life's Simple Pleasures

Hello Blogging Sisters! I have a 1 year birthday party coming up so I decided to make a card using my QuicKutz tractor that I've had for over a year and NEVER USED ... hey, NO ACT ... admit it, I know you all have those things hiding in your craft stuff too!! LOL!!! I used popup dots to add dimension to the tractor and rocks.

In the same package I found this QuicKutz Castle and I remembered a super cute sample card I saw at Stamps & Memories, so I decided to try and make the card from memory. I added stickles to bling up the towers, and also used the QuicKutz Cannon Blast (just like in Disneyland). Here's what I made.

Thanks for checking it out and hope you like the cards...

NO BILLS IN THE MAIL TODAY!!! Instead, I got this RAK from Chalsie of Paper Kisses. Chalsie read a comment I left on her blog, and was soooo kind to send me stamped images of Skater Ian (The Greeting Farm) for me to play with. I had commented that I have been waiting for Skater Ian to come back into stock so I could buy him. My youngest son is totally into skateboarding and he is always going to birthday parties for his friends. The stamp would be PERFECT for me to make cards with. BIG HUGS to you Chalsie for being so thoughtful in sending me the stamped images. After talking with her, I found out that she spent her childhood just one street away from me ... what a small world!

As a sign of my appreciation, here's a thank you card I am sending to Chalsie for sending me the images. I've been wanting to use my SU Fifth Avenue Floral, and I thought it would be perfect for this card. I also wanted to use the "so... tweet" stamp I bought from J's Knicknacks. I hope she likes my card... It's been so nice making new friends in blogland! Everyone is so super nice! Thanks for stopping by, and talk to you again real soon!

Here's a card that I am sending to one of my super good friends at work who's recuperating from recent surgery. TAKE CARE LAURIE AND HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER REAL SOON!!!

Welcome to Monday the star of another work week, and I hope you all had a Happy Easter spending time with family and friends!

Here's my card for Joni Haraga, my April partner for Teri's OCS. I used my Anya stamp and colored her with my Copics. I also used my SU DSP from the bunch that I bought from Teri, added some dew drops that Linda had given me, put ribbon, and ended it with adhering a Prima flower. I hope my partner likes the card! I can't wait for the May OCS! Thanks Teri for coming up with this swap!

HAPPY EASTER ALL! Gracie is having a huge blog candy to celebrate Kae's First Holy Communion coming up on May 2nd. Check out Gracie's blog here for the details. Good luck to all and congrats to Gracie and Kae!

Happy Saturday ... it's kinda wet and chilly outside today! Here's my attempt at making Teri's Double Shaker card from her tutorial. It's my very first shaker card ... can you believe that I never made one before??!!?? Never had the guts to try.

Okay girls, it took me HOURS to make this card. Here's a closeup ... don't look too close because you will see all the flaws... I am a very visual person and don't do very well with written instructions.

Here's my story...

I got through the first couple of steps with no problems, but then I had to put the 2 layers together. ARGHH!!

First of all, I forgot to put the window over the first layer and just pasted the second layer on. I kept wondering why it looked retarded, so I took it apart and attached the window to the first layer. After that, I made a mistake and attached the imaged layer on the top, when the tutorial said to put in on the bottom ... so took it apart again! I made another mistake by sealing the imaged layer without putting the additional beads ... apart it came yet again!!

I THINK I did it correctly but who knows ... I think I better stick to single layer shaker cards from now on. LOL!! Thanks for listening to my story and hope you come by and visit again...

Hope you are all having a GREAT GOOD FRIDAY! Here's a Easter RAK from my BFF. I'm lucky to have a friend like Linda because she keeps me in check and always makes me laugh (more like snort). Sometimes we laugh so much that we are crying at the same time and cannot even talk! LOL!!! She has some super cute creations and she told me that she would post the instructions on creating the box on her blog. Check it out sometime...
Okay, so I spent the day crafting and I finished my card for my April partner on Teri's OCS. I'll post a picture after I mail it to give her some time to receive it. I hope she likes it.

Thanks for stopping by! Take care and hope to post something tomorrow!

I really should be doing it, but of course I choose CRAFTING!!! I have the day off tomorrow ... YIPPEE ... so I plan on playing with my "toys". The 3 men in my life bought me the Wii Fit this past Christmas ... you think they were they trying to tell me something??

Okay girls, it's a never ending battle of the buldge for me and YIKES, I cannot remember the last time my thighs didn't touch!!! HAHAHAHA!!! So, I told my Honey that I don't know what happened and I just woke up one morning and BAMMMM, I just look like how I do!! The other day he came home from work and told me that he had a surprise for me ...

A whole box of Apple Napples from Napoleon Bakery ... OMG!!! Now you know why I look like the way I do. TEE HEE!!

Okay, so my goal for this weekend is to make my card for Teri's OCS. My mind is going a mile a minute right now with so many ideas, so I hope I don't disappoint and can come up with something nice for my swap partner!

I stopped off at Ben Franklin after work to get my supplies so I can ATTEMPT to make Teri's double shaker card from her tutorial. View it here. Wish me luck! Thanks for listening to my nonsense...

HAPPY HUMP DAY! Here's a picture of a baby shower favor I recently made for one of my co-workers who just gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Hali'a. CONGRATS SHELLIE! Of course I had lots of help putting them together from my 2 cohorts (you know who you are) that always gets dragged into my little adventures. Thanks girls for helping me put the favors together! Inside was a Ghirardelli chocolate square ... YUMMY!

Okay, here's the scoops: I downloaded the onesie template from Lauralynn's Baby Onsie Template on SCS. Sorry, but I OLD so I cannot remember which website I downloaded the baby pooh images from, but I all I know is that it was FREE ... don't you just LOVE those websites!! Next I punched out scallop circles, used double stick tape to attach the image, put pop dots to raise baby pooh, mini brads as snaps for the bottoms, and then glued mini bows.

Hope you like it and thanks for visiting!

Good morning ladies! Wanted to give a big shout out to Jodi who has reached 20,000 hits and is having a HUGE blog candy giveaway! CONGRATS TO YOU JODI! Check our her site here and join in the fun! Good luck to all!

Big shout out to my blogging sisters!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR KIND WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT! It's kinda scary, but hopefully I will someday be in the same ranks on creativity as you all. I see how much fun you all have, making new friends as you go along, and I am really excited to join in the FUN! My GF Teri put it into perspective for me by saying that I should look at it as a journal for my creations and not as a competition type thing. I think Teri is positively right on point. Thanks again Teri!

I just got home from the watching Knowing at Regal Theatres with my family ... was an okay movie ... and want to create something. I'm kinda feeling under the weather right now so I don't know if I will accomplish my goal for today.

Thanks for stopping by and it's back to work tomorrow for me (and most of you)...

My BFF Linda challenged me the other day to create something with my new SU Manhattan Flower embossing folder. Here's what I created. Of course she came up with some lame excuse for not making her creation ... LOL ... but I know she will come up with something GORGEOUS as usual! I wonder what she will challenge me to do next?? Love you girl!

I have a very wonderful husband who supports my craziness and 2 active sons who I just adore. The three men in my life keep me very busy, but they all support the madness. I work full-time as a paralegal and try to squeeze in as much time as I can to CRAFT. Thanks for visiting my blog.

Hello everyone! Welcome to my first time ever attempt at blogging. Thanks to some arm twisting from my BFF Linda and GF Teri Suzuki, the madness will now begin for me. Thanks Linda and Teri for your words of encouragement. I really appreciate everything you guys do for me! I follow many blogs by our creative local girls and others, but was too chicken to even think I could do something like this. Hope you enjoy my blog and will try my best to entertain you!
