MY ATTEMPT AT MAKING A DOUBLE SHAKER CARD...

Happy Saturday ... it's kinda wet and chilly outside today! Here's my attempt at making Teri's Double Shaker card from her tutorial. It's my very first shaker card ... can you believe that I never made one before??!!?? Never had the guts to try.

Okay girls, it took me HOURS to make this card. Here's a closeup ... don't look too close because you will see all the flaws... I am a very visual person and don't do very well with written instructions.

Here's my story...

I got through the first couple of steps with no problems, but then I had to put the 2 layers together. ARGHH!!

First of all, I forgot to put the window over the first layer and just pasted the second layer on. I kept wondering why it looked retarded, so I took it apart and attached the window to the first layer. After that, I made a mistake and attached the imaged layer on the top, when the tutorial said to put in on the bottom ... so took it apart again! I made another mistake by sealing the imaged layer without putting the additional beads ... apart it came yet again!!

I THINK I did it correctly but who knows ... I think I better stick to single layer shaker cards from now on. LOL!! Thanks for listening to my story and hope you come by and visit again...
